Ice fishermen pulling their sleds of gear on their way back from a day of ice fishing. As they walked by they said "sorry" for messing up my sunset image. I let the know that, if anything, they made the image even better. As any fisherman would do, I asked how they fared. They said they caught several crappie and white bass. Sounds like a great day...

Tonight's sunset was beautiful. I had tonight marked on my calendar for the past week because the app I use indicated that the conditions were looking prime for the best sunset of the week. I'm really missing seeing these beautiful eagles on the Mississippi River. I decided to dig through my archives to edit some old images that I saved for a rainy day. Here is one from 2016 of a beautiful close flyover. I'm hoping to revisit more images from the past to add to my Eagle album.

Dark-eyed Junco Showing off the Markings

A beautiful little Dark-eyed Junco was sitting among the icy and snowy branches and showing off the beautiful markings on its back. I love the little flashes of white these birds give as they fly away. So many birds this time of year have messy beaks from eating from the side of the snowy/salty roads.
