Dark-eyed Junco Showing off the MarkingsA beautiful little Dark-eyed Junco was sitting among the icy and snowy branches and showing off the beautiful markings on its back. I love the little flashes of white these birds give as they fly away. So many birds this time of year have messy beaks from eating from the side of the snowy/salty roads.
