We were able to see and get a blurry image of the conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter but nothing post worthy. The moon, however, was looking very photogenic. Enjoy the winter solstice moon of 2020.

Moraine View State Park Deer at Dusk

I was able to go for a short drive at dusk tonight for the first time in quite awhile. There weren't many opportunities but this doe was blending in nicely along the banks Dawson Lake. The light wasn't great but the scene was too pretty not to photograph.

I've been to this Chapel in the Trees at Funk's Grove many times, but this scene on this particular Fall day struck me. The way the backlit cross was surrounded by the golden fall leaves as the midday sunrays pierced the canopy of color, it brought an extra calm and comfort to thoughts.
