The Greatest of These is Love
I've been to this Chapel in the Trees at Funk's Grove many times, but this scene on this particular Fall day struck me. The way the backlit cross was surrounded by the golden fall leaves as the midday sunrays pierced the canopy of color, it brought an extra calm and comfort to thoughts. I know things are incredibly dark, frustrating, sad, and, at times, out of control, but this moment helped me remember First Corinthians 13:13. "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." I'm so thankful I was able to have this moment and photograph it. God's light is the constant that can pierce any dark. I can't control the hearts and minds of others; but I can continue to keep faith, hope and love alive and strong in my heart and prayers...the greatest of these is Love.
