This is an image I made yesterday (3-21-20) at Lake Evergreen. There were several groups of Northern Shovelers wading the shallows. I had just arrived to this spot and didn't even have time to check my settings when this group flew across the road. The Goose...From Top Gun

I think I met The Goose...the actual Goose from Top Gun! This guy was flying between trees with no problem and even turned towards me mid-flight to....exchange greetings? He stuck his tongue out at me. Look at it flapping in the breeze to torment me. I get the last laugh though because, like Maverick, I got a great photo.

Morning Doe at Sunrise

I almost missed this doe and I'm sure you have to look a couple of times to spot her. She blended in so well with the golden field and grass. I spotted her as she was trotting away by the white flash of her tail. Then she stopped long enough for me to get this one shot. I just love this scene and landscape.

With the rain clouds all day, I didn't think there was even a chance for getting a sunset tonight, but the first day of Spring decided to surprise us in Central Illinois and gave us a brilliant sunset. This is a 3 image panorama.
