It was very active, catching a dragonfly and a worm. I never saw a nest, but I suspect it was feeding some hatchlings. Yellow-rumped Warbler in GNPYellow-rumped Warbler in GNPI have hundreds of images of Yellow-rumped Warblers from back home, but this colorful warbler was posing so nicely in the evening sun, just asking for a portrait, so I obliged.

As we were enjoying our last sunset at Glacier National Park, I noticed this Cedar Waxwing perched on a limb above us, seemingly enjoying the beautiful evening light as well. The same was true of the Red-breasted Nuthatch and Yellow-rumped Warbler—all enjoying the lake, the mountains, and that beautiful sunset at Glacier.

This will probably be my last post for Glacier National Park as I begin loading and sorting through my images from the last park of our trip, Olympic National Park in Washington.
