I love the lighting and angle of the bird in this image. In order to get an eagle fishing image like this one, the conditions need to be just right. I made my first trip to the Mississippi today...with the strange winter we've had, the eagle numbers are down but I wanted to go today to check it out anyway. This images was taking exactly 1 year ago today when it was much colder along the Mississippi and the eagles were there in numbers.
