Here is another image from last February on the Mississippi River. I'm happy to have so many unedited images still from past trips since the weather hasn't been very cooperative for this season's eagles. This eagle caught a very nice fish and I really like the pose he gave me. That along with pretty skies makes for a sweet eagle image.

Here is another image from last season (February to be exact). Seeing them fish sure is a thing of beauty to behold. The wind was blowing out of the direction I needed to get this image...mother nature doesn't always cooperate but when it does, it is nice to take advantage of the situation.

Dreaming of a Cold Front

Here is an image from January last year and if I'm going to get any opportunity to see and photograph eagles this year, I have to hope for a cold front or two to make its way through the Midwest. Clear Fall Morning

I love photographing this little island on Dawson Lake during different seasons. It is called Honker Island and usually has hundreds of honking geese in the Spring. On an early fall day the sun hits the east side setting the fall leaves ablaze. Using a slower shutter speed gives the water a little blur and makes these trees really pop!
