Dreaming of a Cold Front

Dreaming of a Cold FrontDreaming of a Cold FrontHere is an image from January last year and if I'm going to get any opportunity to see and photograph eagles this year, I have to hope for a cold front or two to make its way through the Midwest. It has been a very mild winter so far with it being 50 degrees today and a forecast of 61 degrees on Christmas eve. The eagles are able to stay at their home lakes, rivers, and ponds and fish without having to migrate to the Great Mississippi to find open water.
