I caught this eagle as he was banking hard right. I love how smooth these birds operate in the air; turning on a dime and going into a dive when they spot their next meal.

I thought this was a cool moment of an eagle soaring over the Mississippi River with 3 geese watching the air show. It is another high key, minimalistic image due to the cloud cover and foggy conditions.

Missed his Fish in the Fog

I shared this image more so for the moment than the clarity of the image. The mist on the Mississippi River reduces the clarity quite a bit but the head-on view just after this eagle comes up empty in a attempt to catch a fish is worth sharing. It looks like he was going for a fairly small fish as he tried with just one talon and came up with nothi...
