A Hummingbird's World

Enter the world of a hummingbird...it is quite amazing. They zip in and out of these dense flowers and foliage at awesome speeds. Their view of things must be amazing. This is one of my better hummingbird images despite not having the best light. It is progress though in my pursuit to better photograph these tiny birds. Facebook

Early Summer Ruby-throated Hummingbird

Despite difficult lighting due to thick cloud-cover, I managed this image of a ruby-throated hummingbird feeding from beautiful blooming foxglove beard tongue wildflowers. I am going to look forward to photographing these little birds more this summer under better lighting conditions. Just getting out this evening and trying was worth it. Facebook...

Cousin Divas

My daughter and my niece sure love each other. We went to the sprinkler park today to enjoy the beautiful weather and it was a great day.
