This image was taken from the back deck of the house in Castle Rock. The weather was beautiful all week, but almost daily we would see rain miles away up in the mountains. It was a picture-perfect day up at Grand Lake, Colorado where I made several landscape images on Shadow Mountain Lake. This is also where we saw Moose. I was expecting it to be a bit colder, but it hit 80's even at 8000 feet.
