I love watching these eagles soar and maneuver through the sky with ease. I also love watching them perched in trees eating or calling out to each other. But, I must say, watching them fish is an absolute treat. Simply put, it is witnessing perfection of nature.

It was such a beautiful after school today, that I decided to go for a quick drive looking for some migratory water fowl. With it being leap day, I thought I might get lucky. I was blessed to see a pair of Mute Swans hanging out in a pond at Bloomington Air Port. The sun was just right lighting the swans beautifully. I'm thankful for this extra day...

This Juvenile American Bald Eagle posed perfectly for me. I love how he turned to expose the beautiful underbelly and wings towards the light and framed his head perfectly for the image. Thank you young fella!
