Eagle Close-up Action Scene

Going for the Steal

I love watching these eagles fight in the air for the fish. One bird will actually invert and try to grab the fish out of the other bird's talons or they will try to make the other bird drop it. I've actually see eagles catch a fish out of midair. It is awesome! Catching these events is very difficult as they happen way out over the river most time...

A Winter Bald Eagle in Flight

It feels good capturing clear, sharp images of eagles in flight or fishing, but I love it when I can capture them in their environment. Not only getting a nice background, but also with a good pose and a view of their eyes in good light. This is one of those images where it all comes together creating an image I'm proud to call art.
