The lighting for this image wasn't ideal, which made editing the image difficult. There was harsh light on the eagle's head but I liked the rim light on the eagle's beak and left wing. There wasn't much light under the eagle's wings either. I wasn't willing to give up on this image though because the eye was sharp and I loved the wing positioning....

This bird actually flew so close that I was forced to clip off most of the wings. While this isn't an ideal photo, I like the view it gives of the eagle's underbelly. Enjoy!
