As I learn the features and practice with my new camera, this swan made for a beautiful subject. It never sat still as it kept bobbing his head below the water to eat and the lighting changes as the night progressed on his white feathers added to the challenge. I was left with this series of images to edit and share.

Female Eastern Bluebird

This Female Eastern Bluebird wasn't concerned with my son and I taking her photo at all. She sat in this perfect light for quite awhile as if she was welcoming a photoshoot. I couldn't quite photograph the male as it stayed out of line of site but it was nearby. We were just thankful to get several minutes with this beautiful bird.

This is my first post of a bird after upgrading my camera body to the Canon EOS R5 Mark ii. I still need to upgrade my memory card but I had fun adjusting the new camera and fine tuning it in the field.
