This is an image I wanted to get before I set out to photograph these pelicans. I've seen several images with the Pelican's mussed up hair and they always brought a smile to my face, so I just had to try to get that pose. I was lucky to catch one looking in my direction. Double-crested Cormorant In-Flight--

Here is another migratory shore bird for the evening...a double-crested Cormorant. There were several of these cormorants in the trees around Lake Evergreen drying their wings. I sat for quite awhile watching the flying in and out of trees on the opposite side of the lake. This was the only one that flew close enough for me to get an image.
