At first glance you see a nice winter scene with ice on the lake and bare trees, but after looking more closely, you can spot the lone ice skater. A goose out for a stroll.

Geese Running Off Into the Sunset...so romantic. I love the colors of this image. You have the vibrant reflection of the sunset in the background water with the bluish tones in the shadows near the shore. I also love the out-of-focus geese in the background.

Just before sunset and right before leaving Dawson Lake after driving around it for over 30 minutes, I spotted these deer. I guess it just goes to show, don't give up on a quiet run for wildlife; anything can happen at the last minute.
