Waves Crashing Under the Pier

I was able to time the long exposure image for moments when the waves would crash against the columns of the pier, which created magnificent patterns of swirling water. The black and white treatment accentuated the water swirls and I love the way they contrast with the silhouette of pier.

Savannah Live Oaks

One of my favorite scenes in Savannah was the moss-covered live oak road leading to the Wormsloe Plantation. This gravel lane has been used for several movies and is such a beautiful site that no movies nor images can do it justice. Rocks on the Beach

This image was taken just after sunrise on Tybee Island Beach in Savannah, Georgia. The previous day these rocks were well out of the water but with the rising tide it offered a great opportunity to catch the waves crashing over the rocks. I was struck by the beauty of this spot as the rocks seemed to divide the scene into warmer colors on the left...
