I got a really great angle on this northern shoveler couple for a nice reflection as they swam by. It was a challenge because all of the birds were very skittish. Joggers would run by and most of the ducks that were close enough to photograph would leave for a bit. I had to be still for quite awhile. When this pair swam by I took several images. I like this one as they were close enough to get them together and get a reflection. This is also one of the few images where they weren't backlit, which provides a nice look at their magnifecant colors and patterns. I love the colors on the male but those pattern on the female's back are captivating.
