Golden GiftHere is my second edit from my trip to the Mississippi River yesterday. Imagine -20 windchills and scanning the landscape of the icy Mississippi under drab, cloudy skies and seeing this bright flash of gold flying inches above the water. It instantly brought a smile to my face and made me completely forget about the temps. I was able to make this image as this juvenile bald eagle banked to the right so that I could catch those wings in all their glory. What a golden gift on this cold day.
