- On Top of the World -

The Illorado crew took on the mighty Arkansas River that runs through the beautiful Colorado mountains near the Collegiate Peaks.  This was one of the most incredible experiences we've had as a family.  It sure got the adrenaline flowing as there were several scarey moments.  The only thing keeping you from falling in was how well you wedged your feed into the raft.  This river also required some technical lines to be taken through the rapids and rocks or else the whole raft would have flipped.  As my youngest said, "this isn't a movie, this is real!".  Thanks to Nonni and Popo, we used the GoPro hero 3+ black to document our experience.  The ride took almost 4 hours, so condensing it down to 25 minutes was difficult.  Our guides Paul and Rob did a great job for both boats. They made sure we worked hard to paddle and control the boat, it was a team effort for sure.  I wasn't able to film the other boat much....only in passing, but they had a great time too.  I hope you all enjoy the video and get a sense of how much fun we had!
