Colorado Mountain StreamsNothing can quite capture or describe how amazing it was to sit along this beautiful mountain stream. Luckily I was able to share the moment with my wife. It was morning, the light was beautiful, and the temp. was a crisp 60 degrees. The first thing we noticed when we opened the door was the fragrance in the air; it smelled like a mix between mountain pine and lavender. I love the sound of the water rushing by as the mist sprayed up on us by the river. The colors were stunning and to top it off, humming birds were flying around by our heads. I set my tripod up on the smallest of ledges by the water with one post in the water. I mounted my trusty Canon and lens on the tripod and snapped away. I slowed the shutter just enough to give the the sense of moving water. I love how images can take us back to a moment and help re-experience a smell, sound, vision, feeling...a perfect memory.
