Enjoying the NectarAs part of my wildlife photography, I try to challenge myself to capture a variety of poses of various birds or animals. Not only am I striving to get a good exposure and background, but I'm also trying to find various poses of the subject that are either classic or unique. This image is a head-on view of the ruby-throated hummingbird drinking nectar from a foxglove wildlife. You can still see his eye but the rest of his beak is deep in the flower with his wings spread and tail up in the air. I feel it is a unique look and one I can check off the list.
