While hiking a week ago, I was lucky to come across this pretty doe around one of the trail curves. She allowed me this quick look before hopping into the brush for some cover. Hopefully she was eating up before this cold weather came through.

Rays Over Beanfields

Here is an image of tonight's sunset as I was driving back from Moraine View State Park. The sun rays were beautiful and the back-lit bean fields just glowed. I tried to make an image that captured just some of the striking scene that I saw with my eyes.

I was playing around with my camera and off-camera flash this evening and came out with this pretty portrait of our "beast". She makes a decent model and seems to listen to every word I tell her....why can't she do this when I don't have the camera in front of me?

The Stormy Rockies

When we were in Colorado, it stormed just about every afternoon from 3:00 pm on. I joked with my family that I wasn't able to see a single Colorado sunset while I was out there, which was true.
