Here is a mature bald eagle chasing a juvenile off the ice. In wildlife photography, it is always nice to capture interaction and social behaviors. The juveniles can be pesky and persistent, but the adults rule the roost!

Juvenile Bald Eagle Stare Down

Sometimes the light doesn't cooperate but sometimes the moment is just too good not to appreciate despite the less than perfect conditions. I really like this moment captured of a juvenile bald eagle giving great eye contact. Do I wish it was more sunlit? Of course, but that is one of the challenges of nature photography.
