Here is an orange crowned warbler. Many times I have a sore neck after a day of looking for these warblers. Here is a good example why. I'm looking straight up at the underbelly of this bird. It doesn't make for the best angle for an image but I wanted to share anyway.

Eastern Wood Pewee

I'm pretty happy with this latest series of images of the Eastern Wood Pewee. It is a type of flycatacher and eats insects. I feel like I saw so many types of flycatchers yesterday at Ewing Park. Red-eyed Vireo

I saw my first red-eyed vireo today. I was happy to see you can actually see the red eye in this image, which isn't always the case in some images. He looks stocky but that is just the angle I was at and the way this bird was sitting. I like the dark strip running through the eye on the face like a mask.
