Eastern Kingbird

Eastern KingbirdEastern KingbirdThis is another image from the series featuring the incredibly cooperative Eastern Kingbird I photographed at Moraine View State Park last week. It spent its time darting from perch to perch, scanning for insects and launching quick aerial pursuits whenever a meal presented itself. Every so often, it would pause to sing, as if it was showing off. Best of all, it seemed completely unfazed by my presence, allowing me plenty of time to enjoy and photograph its show.
