Great Crested Flycatcher

Great Crested FlycatcherGreat Crested FlycatcherAs the migration has been a bit slow so far this year, I had a fairly quiet night of birding last week. It was salvaged by this beautifully lit Great Crested Flycatcher. I heard its beautiful call and located it fairly quickly. I was lucky that it sat in some evening golden hour light long enough for just a few images. This was taken at Ewing Park on April 29th, 2026.
