I went out yesterday morning with the intention of taking some landscape images, but this beautiful little bird made me adjust my plans very quickly. While walking back along the sunflower field, I heard finches and buntings from the sunflowers. I quickly took off my backpack and switched lenses to my birding lens. After sitting patiently, I was rewarded with this beautiful indigo bunting perched on one of the taller sunflowers and the light was perfect. I'm just glad I had the gear I needed on me at the time.
