This female eastern towhee was laying low in a thicket as I was walking by. She startled me at first but she stayed for several moments allowing me to take her images. Such pretty birds, colors, and eyes. The green cast on her is from me having to shoot through some green leaves to photograph her. The leaves have really popped on all of the trees and bushes in the grove making shooting a bit more challenging but also giving me more cover to hide in.
