Capturing the Catch

Capturing the CatchCapturing the CatchCapturing this single moment is one of the most challenging things to photograph when photographing these eagles fishing. While this image captures the moment, it isn't perfect. The pose is moving slighting away from me, the light is to the back of the bird, and freezing the action without blur is just so difficult. Despite the subtle imperfections, I have to acknowledge that the moment captured far outweighs my quest for getting the perfect image. It is what keeps me going back and trying again and again...that and watching these birds fish is so much fun!
