Patrolling the BloomsPhotographing these tiny hummingbirds while they are feeding is challenging enough but getting them while they are weaving in and out of blooms is just planned luck. I say planned, because you have to put yourself in the position to get the shot (positioning, correct settings, good light, good focusing techniques, etc.), but grabbing the focus isn't always possible. For every image in focus there are dozens out of focus. Persistence is a quality every wildlife photographer requires.
