Into the WindIt appears that these two pelicans are looking at me but they are actually fighting the gusty wind on Lake Evergreen as evident by their windblown hairdo. I was literally sitting in downed reeds along the lake that I thought was fairly dry. I wanted to get on the ground so I didn't spook the pelicans and I wanted this low perspective over the water. Well, little did I know, the reeds were actually over the high lake water and it was cold. With wet jeans and a strong wind, I was a bit chilly. It was worth it to get this shot, but if anyone had a camera on me, I'm sure my expression would have been priceless as well.
