Anytime I get a sharp image of one of these birds flying right at me, I'm happy. This Juvenile was flying pretty fast...darn adolescent pilots, which makes it difficult getting the focus just right. This is a very common eagle pose as the eagle drops in towards the water after he spots his catch. It reminds me of the US Postal Service logo. I love the layers of this image. I love the mood of this image. Anytime I capture warm and cool tones together in an image, I love the results. It makes for a pretty backdrop for this soaring eagle.
