Hummingbird Feeding on the Trumpet Vine before Sunset

My in-laws have the most impressive trumpet vine growing over their pergola and the hummingbirds love it. I was able to capture this female ruby-throated hummingbird as the sun was about to go down, leaving the background in complete shadows. What a beautiful little bird.

I love the beauty of a field that has been freshly rained on. The green just seems more green and the smell of fresh rain in the field is something I will miss during the winter months. It is simply beautiful!
