The eagles will fly directly over you sometimes, which offers a great view. It was pretty cool taking my kids one time and they got to see this. My son's favorite memory was almost being bombarded by fish parts. After it happened he was like, "that was totally awesome!" That is a boy for you. I love when the eagles check out their fresh catch. Sometimes they transfer it to their beak and eat in while flying. I use to think that they were just that hungry but I believe it is so the other eagles don't try to steal their catch.

These birds really know how to turn on the jets. They tuck their wings in and its like they hit another gear darting to their location. It is even more amazing when they turn into a dive towards the ground after their prey. As a photographer, you have to get good at predicting their movements and knowing when they speed up and slow down especially...
