I just love these ducks but I can never seem to get close enough to them. Today I was finally able to get a few shots before this and 2 other wood ducks took off. You can see the reeds of grass in the foreground as I was trying to get the shot. Thankfully the grass didn't obscure the shot too much. Check out those colors!
