I was rewarded for getting up early this morning with several opportunities to photograph some beautiful bucks. I absolutely love this image of a buck slowly making his way up a shady hillside as the golden sunlight began illuminating the brilliant fall colors on the opposite side of Dawson Lake. There was something special about the peacefulness of that early morning moment, with the warm autumn colors glowing in the distance and this handsome buck quietly making his way through the shadows. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect scene, and I'm just grateful I was there to witness it and capture the moment.
