I was absolutely thrilled to see and capture these photos of a lifer Western Kingbird in Theodore Roosevelt National Park! There is something incredibly exciting about seeing a bird for the very first time, and getting the chance to photograph it made the experience even more special. I love the beautiful markings and colors of this bird, with its gray head and chest contrasting against its bright yellow belly. I was especially excited to capture it in flight, which made this lifer encounter even more memorable!
