While in Springfield over Memorial Day weekend, while visiting family, I was able to capture a few new lightning images. The view to the west of my in-law's home gives me the perfect open field vantage points for approaching storms. This storm was tracking Northeast. I was able to pick up several bolts in this image. The foreground is the first that grabs the attention, but there are several more further off in the distance.
