There are many wonders in this world but the everyday events in nature are some of the most inspiring to me. This is a sequence of a Great Blue Heron fishing. Usually I see them stalk and snag a fish from the bank or a log. I watched this one catch 4 fish that way, but then he perked up as he saw a fish further away. This sequence shows him leaping, flying, and catching a decent size shad. I was able to track him with focus and get several images of the sequence. Enjoy this amazing sequence!
