Here is an image from yesterday's trip to the Mississippi River of a juvenile bald eagle perched on a rock along the river banks. It was a very cold day, but perfect for these eagles. The colder the weather, the more fishing they do. Much of the river was iced over except at the lock and dams, which is why they are there...to fish the open water.
