I was mesmerized by these sea stacks just off the beaches of Olympic National Park. I could photograph them all day and especially loved catching them during the different phases of the light as the gloomy clouds gave way to a spectacular sunset. They looked like something out of a dream or from another planet. They represent the power of Mother Nature, as the ocean waves have spent centuries carving these rocks into what we see today. This set of images is the perfect way to end my photo series of Olympic National Park and concludes my images from our summer trip across the country, ending with a cruise where we visited four National Parks.
