I had the great pleasure of spending some time with this striking Prothonotary Warbler along the Ewing Park creek yesterday afternoon. I learned so much from watching this warbler work the banks of the creek searching for insects, especially spiders in their webs. In a couple of the images, you can see it either chasing a spider or eating one. The light wasn’t great beneath the canopy of trees along the creek, but that didn’t stop me from capturing many quality images showing off this beautiful warbler.
