Foggy Morning on the Mississippi
I usually like to get to the Mississippi River fairly early despite the poor lighting it offers early. The best lighting for photographing at this location is later in the day. I was rewarded on this particular morning with a layer of fog across the river and hundred of common mergansers on the water. I then waited for a moment where I could get one of the eagles flying across the scene. I not only got one but two, which made for this cool environmental shot. I really like it.
