The Illinois River from Lover's Leap
For Central Illinois, Starved Rock State Park offers some of the most beautiful views. After a hike up to Lover's Leap, I was able to make this image. I was thinking about waiting around for a sunset but the clouds were moving in. I was happy with this view and composition showing a little bit of the rocky bluffs in the lower right and featuring the incredible view of the Illinois river.
